Police
looking for women fraud suspects
POLICE
are looking for two women who allegedly fleeced their employer
of at least US$5,000 recently.
The
wanted duo are Kamaladai Jagmohan called Davika and
Sandhya
Devi Roopchand called Sandy, whose pictures were published in
a section of the media.
The
suspects did not go to work on Monday and the theft, over a
period of time, was detected after management of Muneshwar’s
Travel Service, at Lot 45-47 Water Street, Georgetown, decided
to audit its accounts.
Manager
of the business, Mrs. Radika Hanoman said yesterday that they
called in the Police to investigate.
She
said the women had been employed there for years and their
unexpected absence from the job aroused suspicions.
Hanoman said it is the first time a fraud has been uncovered
at the company.
